Rustic walkways and many of the reception areas, lounges and restaurants offer sand between your toes chic. Family friendly Rangali-Finohlu Island is the main hub and home to the expanded Majaa Explorer’s club and new Furaavaru teens club. There is a large infinity pool with accompanying children’s pool and situated off the tip of the island a sublime stilted overwater spa. There are 3 boutiques, floodlit tennis courts, a 24- hour gym, a water sports centre from where you can loan your snorkel gear, paddle boards and kayaks and the popular dive centre where you can book dive courses, dolphin cruises, snorkelling, coral planting or diving excursions in search of turtles, rays and the gentle giant whale sharks. Perfect for couples and honeymooners, blissfully peaceful adults only Rangali Island also has its own infinity pool, Japanese inspired spa and adults only gym.
The resort features 151 beach and 50 refurbished overwater villas. All have thatched roofs, natural wood, Indian Ocean turquoise and tranquil sea green materials with Maldivian touches and modern design. Beach Villas boast private gardens with a sunken bath or plunge pool. The much larger Deluxe Beach Villas have floor to ceiling windows filling the room with light and the addition of a large, raised pavilion garden room and day bed to the rear. The Two Bedroom Deluxe Beach Villa with Pool now has an outdoor pavilion converted to a second bedroom making it a great choice for families. Alternatively, families can choose the Grand Water Villas with jacuzzi or plunge pool, where the living area can be converted into a second bedroom. The Two Bedroom Grand Water Villas offer the most incredible views with nothing but sea in each direction and can also be booked by 4 adults. The James Bond style 3- bedroom Muraka Residence with one suite submerged below the ocean has a private deck and infinity pool and is service by private chef and butler.
