Santorini – A Natural Wonder

Santorini luxury holidaysThe Greek island of Santorini is located in the Aegean Sea, some 120 miles off of the Greek mainland. This volcanic island is well known for its dramatic scenery and landscapes, as well as its fantastic beaches, and those people staying in the charming town of Ola also have the pleasure of being able to witness some of the most fabulous sunsets in the world. Ola itself is a great place to stay, and Only Exclusive Travel recommend the Mystique hotel, which is positioned on Ola's most famous cliffs.

The Mystique Luxury Hotel offers guests not only a perfect location from which to enjoy the views, but also five star facilities and service. Accommodation comes in the form of villas and suites, with the Vibrant Suites having sea facing balconies, and the top class villas boasting a private mini gym and outdoor jacuzzi. The hotels facilities also include the Charisma restaurant, where local dishes can be tried alongside Mediterranean and World cuisine, and the Aura Bar which is the perfect place to relax with a drink both during the day and night. Wine lovers may be interested in the Secret Wine cave, which houses an impressive collection of wines, some dating back dozens of years.

One of the great things about staying at the Mystique in Santorini, is the Asian Spa Resort. The treatments and therapies on offer here use natural ingredients, and centuries old traditions to relax both the mind and body. This is perfect after a day spent sight seeing or at the beach.

Mystique hotel SantoriniWhilst some people may be content to stay within Mystique for the majority of their holiday in Santorini, it is a great idea to get out and about to see some of the island. This can be done on either organised tours, or independently by renting a car or travelling by bus. Each way of seeing the island offers the holidaymaker a different perspective, and a combination of all three options will enable most of the islands highlights to be seen. The town of Fira is particularly recommended, as of course is a day spent wandering around Ola itself. Other suggested things to do include walking along the caldera between Fira and Ola, visiting the red, Black and White beaches (there is also a nudist beach at Vilchada), and taking a tour of a winery.

A holiday in Santorini at the luxury Mystique hotel is ideal for anyone that would like to have a relaxing vacation, whilst at the same time, having access to plenty of things to see and do.
