Per AQUUM, the hotel group that own NIYAMA, aren’t unknown in creating cutting-edge innovation in its properties. Creating the world's first underwater spa at NIYAMA’s sister Maldivian resort Huvafen Fushi, Per AQUUM are at the forefront of new ideas in the luxury resort remit.

The world’s first underwater nightclub will be beneath NIYAMA’s new restaurant: Edge. This will be a unique culinary experience set 500 metres off shore that can be reached by boat, affording magnificent views over the ocean. Subsix nightclub will be located directly beneath Edge restaurant, with windows looking directly into the blue marine life swimming by.

The world’s first underwater club will the perfect place for international DJs, global music and younger or cooler guests. Bringing something completely unique to the Maldives scene, NIYAMA’s first underwater nightclub in the world will bring a tiny essence of Ibiza. You can expect splashes of indigo and blue whilst you party below the sea for all-night dancing beneath the waves.

The menu at Subsix nightclub will include drinks of all kinds including soft drinks such as freshly squeezed fruit juices, classic smoothies and milkshakes. An impressive array of sparkling cocktails will include the classic bellini among other imaginative concoctions.
