One of our all-time-favourite Dining Experiences at Soneva Fushi takes place at Fresh in the Garden – we always look forward to eating there! There is a new chef in this restaurant now and we think the cuisine has got even better (if that’s possible)! You can eat your meal next to the tall banana trees and inhale the fresh fragrances of the surrounding flora whilst dining.
Desert Island Experiences at Soneva Fushi - Sonu’s Picnic
The nearby desert island, Nibiliga, offers numerous kinds of picnics that we have been on over the years. Secluded picnics where you are left to dine in privacy are a wonderfully intimate and peaceful desert island dining experience. You’re never left to fend for yourself completely though; Soneva Fushi provide you with a mobile phone to use in case you want to return to the resort earlier than planned. Recently, we did “Sonu’s Picnic”, where a chef and waiter accompanied us to the island. The chef cooked succulent Lamb or Chicken and white Fish in the sand with some coal, accompanied by a selection of salads and rice. The lamb in particular is up there with the best we have tasted!

Start off with a glass of Champagne at Bar(a)Bara before boarding a boat and heading out to spot dolphins and other Indian Ocean wildlife. The bubbly is ever-flowing as the boat crew make sounds to attract pods of around 20 dolphins to swim by the boat. No matter how many times you spot dolphins in the Indian Ocean it never ceases to be an utterly magical sight to behold; it is truly one of the most fantastic "Experiences at Soneva Fushi".

The Observatory at Soneva Fushi is a truly unique and interesting facility for any resort or hotel to have.
