Swimming at The Setai is state-of-the-art. Three infinity swimming pools of varying temperatures grace the property, and their layout is cleverly designed so that the pool closest to the beach is the warmest, heated at ninety-five degrees Fahrenheit. The coolest temperature of the pools is a bracing seventy-five degrees Fahrenheit, which is conducive to lap swimming.  Superlative attention is provided around the pools, with towel, water and magazine service, along with waiter service from the pool bar. The technological-focused features extend even to the pools, which are complete with underwater speakers and USB connection capabilities for swimmers to plug in their phones or iPods.

There are 120 suites at The Setai, all of which are calming, plush and magnificent to behold. Guests can choose from Ocean Suites and Art Deco Suites, which have between one and four bedrooms. The Setai Grill

This restaurant embodies a fusion of cultures with its ‘East meets West’ interpretation towards food and has a cosmopolitan feel thanks to its team of international culinarians. The provenance of fare is extremely important to chefs at the Setai, demonstrated by the cuts of dry-aged beef at this eatery, which are sourced from one of the finest meat purveyors in the country, Pat La Frieda and Son of New York. Rise to gourmet heights with small dishes and light bites that are inspired by the freshest and most seasonal Asia-Pacific flavours and specialty main dishes include ocean-fresh Miso Black Cod baked in a hoba leaf and slow cooked Pork Belly.

The Restaurant

The Restaurant invites guests to sample small, tapas-style European-inspired plates. Flavours typically originate from Europe’s ‘Sun Coast’, including Spain, Italy and Provence. The Restaurant utilizes the classic Spanish cooking technique of grilling ‘a la planche’, i.e. pan fried or cooked on a griddle, which is beneficial for fortifying and extracting the versatility of flavours and aromas. A sommelier is on hand to help pair artfully-selected wines with guests’ meals.

The Pool and Beach Bar

At the Pool and Beach Bar, lunch can be enjoyed with balmy and refreshing ocean breezes. Light snacks such as salads, ceviches and fresh sea food comprise the menu, along with more filling meals such as pizzas cooked adeptly on a Brick Oven. Alcoholic treats include a fine selection of wines, rosés and champagne.

Spa by Thémaé

The Thémaé Spa is an innovative and a re-imagined experience, where storied traditions are transported from the Pacific to the South Beach of Miami. Inspired by the fascinating art of tea, the spa utilizes soothing red tea, regenerating white tea, antioxidant green tea and stimulating black tea in treatments.
