One of the most renowned Leading Hotels of the World, The Chedi Muscat, situated between the rugged Al Hajar mountains and the Indian Ocean, opens its doors in an amorous invitation for you to stay in one of its beautiful 158 Omani influenced guestrooms and villas.
DESIGN
Architect Jean-Michel Gathy has strived to combine traditional Omani design with fresh, contemporary understated elegance. Water features heavily as an aesthetic feature; the resort pool is the largest in Arabia at 103 metres in length, and reflecting pools and fountain courtyards showcase the grandeur of traditional Middle-Eastern architecturure. Effortlessly blending the contemporary with an alluring exotic mystique, rooms and suites are tasteful and well-appointed, bedecked with black stone floors, beige and white soft furnishings and wood-louvred windows. Outside, a world of botanical perfection beckons, with beautifully symmetrical gardens, lines of manicured hedges and calming pools of water. A sense of Zen-like calm permeates throughout the entire resort, which welcomes plush and modern conveniences while still fondly maintaining its Omani roots.
