Days 1-2: Arrive into Melbourne International Airport where you will be met by our local representatives and transfer approximately 30 minutes by private car to the elegant Park
Hyatt Melbourne. Spend the rest of the day relaxing or exploring the city’s
renowned café culture, boutiques and laneways.
After breakfast, spend the day discovering Melbourne’s diverse neighbourhoods and cultural highlights. Wander through Fitzroy’s trendy
boutiques and cafés, explore Southbank’s riverside atmosphere or visit the Royal Botanic Gardens and National Gallery of Victoria. Food lovers may wish to enjoy a private food tour or wine tasting experience nearby.
Days 3-4: Enjoy a slower day at leisure — perhaps relaxing at the hotel spa, exploring the Queen Victoria Market or taking a day trip to the nearby Yarra Valley wine region. In the evening, soak up Melbourne’s vibrant nightlife and dining scene one final time.
Collect your hire car and begin one of the world’s most scenic coastal drives along the Great Ocean Road. The journey to Captains at the Bay takes approximately 4.5 to 5 hours including scenic stops along the coastline. Pass through charming surf towns, dramatic cliffside viewpoints and lush rainforest scenery before arriving in Apollo Bay for the evening. Enjoy fresh local seafood, sunset walks along the beach and the peaceful coastal atmosphere.
Days 5-6: Continue west along the Great Ocean Road towards Delgattie Estate, a journey of approximately 4 hours including sightseeing stops. Visit the iconic Twelve Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge and dramatic limestone cliffs before arriving in the charming historic town of Port Fairy. Spend the evening unwinding in the tranquil countryside surroundings.
The following morning, drive inland towards South Australia’s famous wine country. The scenic journey to The Louise takes approximately 7 to 8 hours, passing through rural landscapes and charming country towns along the way. Arrive in the Barossa Valley and enjoy a relaxed evening overlooking the vineyards.
Settle into The Louise, one of Australia’s most luxurious vineyard retreats, surrounded by rolling vines and acclaimed wineries. Spend the evening enjoying exceptional local produce and award-winning wines at the hotel’s renowned restaurant.
Days 7-8: Spend the day exploring the Barossa Valley’s celebrated wineries and cellar doors with private tastings and long vineyard lunches. Alternatively, relax at the hotel and soak up the peaceful atmosphere with spa treatments or scenic walks through the vineyards.
Drive approximately 1 hour to Adelaide Airport and return your hire car. Board your direct 2 hour flight to Ayers Rock Airport before a short 15 minute transfer to Longitude 131°. Settle into your luxury tented pavilion overlooking Uluru then spend the afternoon relaxing before experiencing the magic of the Red Centre at sunset.
Days 9-10: Rise early for sunrise over Uluru before joining guided experiences exploring the spiritual significance and natural beauty of Kata Tjuta. Learn about Indigenous culture and ancient traditions
whilst taking in the incredible desert scenery.
Enjoy another full day immersed in the Red Centre with optional experiences including camel rides, scenic helicopter flights, guided hikes or stargazing experiences beneath Australia’s vast desert skies.
Days 11-12: Transfer back to Ayers Rock Airport for your onward journey to Hamilton Island Airport. The journey typically includes a 3 hour flight to Cairns followed by a 1 hour 30 minute light aircraft flight to Hamilton Island.
Upon arrival, transfer approximately 10 minutes to qualia by car and settle into your private pavilion overlooking the Coral Sea. Spend the afternoon relaxing by the infinity pool, enjoying spa treatments or simply soaking up the tropical surroundings.
Wake up early the following morning to embark on a full-day excursion to the Great Barrier Reef for snorkelling, diving or scenic cruising amongst colourful coral reefs and marine life. Return to qualia for a relaxed evening overlooking the water.
Days 13-15: Visit the breathtaking Whitehaven Beach, famous for its crystal-clear waters and pristine white silica sand. Spend the day swimming, relaxing and exploring one of Australia’s most beautiful beaches.
Enjoy your final full day at leisure — perhaps indulging in a spa treatment, taking out paddleboards or enjoying a sunset cruise through the Whitsundays.
This morning, fly approximately 1 hour 30 minutes from Hamilton Island to Cairns before connecting onto a 3 hour flight to Sydney. Upon arrival, transfer approximately 25 minutes to Capella Sydney, ideally positioned close to the harbour and historic Rocks district. Spend the evening enjoying dinner overlooking the harbour or exploring Circular Quay.
Days 16-17: Discover Sydney’s iconic landmarks including the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge. You may also wish to take a harbour cruise, visit Bondi Beach or enjoy coastal walks with spectacular ocean views.
Spend your final full day enjoying Sydney at your own pace — from designer shopping and world-class dining to beach clubs and harbourfront bars. Celebrate your final evening in Australia with a memorable dinner
overlooking the city skyline.
Day 18: Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and a final morning at Capella Sydney before your private transfer to Sydney Airport and begin your journey back home.
