Day 1: On arrival into Hosea Kutako International Airport, you will be met by our local representative and assisted through customs and immigration. From there, you will be directed to the Wilderness VIP Welcome Lounge for your connecting 90-minute charter flight. On arrival at the airstrip, you will be met and transferred by road for 5 minutes to the spectacular Beyond Sossusvlei Desert Lodge.
Settle into your private villa and enjoy the sweeping desert
views before heading out on a guided sunset nature drive to spot desert-adapted
wildlife, followed by dinner and exceptional stargazing under some of Africa’s
darkest skies.
Days 2-3: The second day is the highlight, with an early-morning excursion to Sossusvlei and Deadvlei, where you’ll explore the towering dunes, walk among the iconic dead trees, and possibly climb Big Daddy or Dune 45 before returning to the lodge for lunch and a restful afternoon by the pool or spa.
Spend the following day on deeper exploration, choosing between a guided desert walk or an e-bike excursion to learn about the landscape, plants, and wildlife, with time later for relaxation and a scenic
sundowner drive.
Day 4: The final day is designed for a relaxed pace, beginning with a leisurely breakfast and the option of a gentle morning walk or short scenic drive for final photographs. The afternoon is spent at leisure, enjoying the lodge’s facilities and tranquil surroundings, before a final sunset, farewell dinner, and a memorable last evening beneath the desert stars.
