Days 1-2: Arrive into Rio de Janeiro and take a 30-45 minute transfer to the iconic Copacabana Palace, perfectly positioned on the famous beachfront. Spend the afternoon settling into the hotel before enjoying sunset cocktails overlooking Copacabana Beach.

Wake early for a visit to Christ the Redeemer before the crowds arrive, allowing you to experience one of the world’s most iconic landmarks in a quieter and more peaceful setting. Later, explore the vibrant neighbourhoods of Rio before heading up Sugarloaf Mountain for sunset drinks
overlooking the city skyline.

Days 3-4: Enjoy a slower day soaking up Rio’s laid-back atmosphere. Relax on Copacabana Beach, sip caipirinhas by the ocean and enjoy the hotel’s exceptional facilities, including its glamorous swimming pool and renowned dining options.

Spend your final full day discovering more of Rio at your own pace — from Ipanema and Santa Teresa to local markets, restaurants and samba bars. Enjoy one final evening at the legendary Copacabana Palace.

Days 5-6: This morning, after breakfast, check out and transfer to Rio de Janeiro/Galeão International Airport for your direct 2 hour 5 minute flight to Iguazu Falls. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed by our local representative before a short 30 minute transfer to Hotel das Cataratas, A Belmond Hotel — the only hotel located within the national
park.

After checking in, enjoy the unique privilege of accessing the falls after the park closes to day visitors. Take a peaceful evening stroll along the walkways whilst soaking up the incredible scenery without the crowds.

Wake early to experience Iguazu Falls before the gates open to the public. Spend the day exploring the various viewpoints and rainforest trails, with optional boat excursions and wildlife spotting opportunities throughout the national park.

Day 7: Today, continue your journey north to the Brazilian Amazon for your stay at Anavilhanas Jungle Lodge. After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your onward journey to Manaus, starting with a 1 hour 50 minute domestic flight to São Paulo followed by a connecting 4 hour flight to Manaus. Upon arrival, continue with a scenic 3 hour road and boat transfer into the heart of the rainforest.

Arrive at Anavilhanas Jungle Lodge, set deep within the Amazon on the edge of the breathtaking Anavilhanas National Park. Spend the afternoon settling into the lodge before heading out on your first guided canoe excursion through the flooded forest and winding waterways.

Days 8-9: Spend the day exploring the Amazon with expert naturalist guides. Search for pink river dolphins, monkeys, sloths and exotic birdlife whilst learning more about this extraordinary ecosystem. In the evening, venture out on a nocturnal safari to spot caimans and other nighttime wildlife.

Today, enjoy guided jungle treks through the rainforest, learning about medicinal plants and survival techniques used within the Amazon. You may also visit local riverside communities for an insight into life within the rainforest.

Days 10-11: Enjoy your final full day in the Amazon with additional activities such as piranha fishing, kayaking or further wildlife excursions. Return to the lodge for a relaxed final evening surrounded by the sounds of the rainforest.

Transfer back to Manaus and continue your journey to the Pantanal for your stay at Caiman Ecological Refuge.

Arrive at Caiman Lodge and settle into one of South America’s most remarkable wildlife regions. Head out on your first guided safari experience in search of caimans, capybaras and the incredible birdlife that calls the Pantanal home.

Days 12-14: Spend the day exploring the wetlands with expert naturalist guides. The Pantanal is renowned for its exceptional wildlife sightings, including jaguars, ocelots, giant anteaters and the endangered hyacinth macaw.

Enjoy further safari activities by vehicle, boat or on foot whilst learning about the region’s important conservation efforts. Between excursions, relax back at the lodge and take in the peaceful surroundings.

Enjoy your final full day immersed in the Pantanal wilderness with more opportunities for wildlife spotting and photography before
a relaxed final evening at the lodge.

Days 15-16: Today, after a leisurely breakfast, transfer to the airport for your onward journey to São Paulo. The journey begins with approximately a 4-5 hour road transfer from Caiman Ecological Refuge to Campo Grande International Airport, followed by a 1 hour 45 minute domestic flight to São Paulo. Upon arrival, a private 20-30 minute road transfer will take you to Palácio Tangará.

Discover Brazil’s vibrant cultural capital, known for its world-class restaurants, art galleries and designer shopping. Enjoy your final evening with rooftop cocktails or a farewell dinner before your onward journey the following day.
